Smart energy solutions
Solar panels on buildings are an important step in the energy transition, and an ever increasing number of businesses are making the switch. It’s a logical choice, as they offer high efficiency and thus help to reduce energy bills significantly. In addition, solar energy contributes to CO2 reduction. Using the energy you generate yourself, or having it used somewhere locally, helps to keep the burden away from the already congested grid. We offer smart solutions, such as solar panels, energy storage, energy management systems and charging stations for precisely this purpose.
Substations
The energy transition and economic growth require ever more capacity from the electricity grid, which calls for a substantial expansion of our high-voltage grid. Expanding and strengthening high-voltage substations and connections are sorely needed for us to meet the demand for transmission capacity. We have already been commissioned by TenneT, the Netherlands’ designated grid operator, to produce and assemble several substations. These connect TenneT’s high-voltage electricity routes to the medium-voltage grids operated by regional grid operators.
